1486 Labs was founded back in October 2022 by Pitt Professor Andy Hannah and 4 interns. Our team has grown to over 20 individuals, staffed by interns and recently graduated professionals. We’ve conducted a lot of research over the years and have learned that data will be our next commodity bought, sold, and traded, and we believe that we have an opportunity to create a digital community to bring these buyers and sellers of data together.​​​
